During pregnancy, folic acid is essential to reduce the risk of neural tube defects by 50-70%, congenital defects by 10-20%, hyperhomocysteinemia, megaloblastic anemia and depression.

DHA contributes to the brain development of the fetus, reduces premature births, prevents gestational hypertension and post-partum depression, improves cognitive performance and visual acuity.

Iron intervenes in the cell division process, contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin and to the normal transport of oxygen in the body.

Vitamin D3 promotes the correct absorption of calcium and phosphorus in the intestine, prevents premature births and allergies in the baby and protects the placenta by strengthening its natural immune defenses.

Vitamin B6 and B12 are important for the development of the central nervous system of the fetus, play a central role in the functionality of the cells of the nervous system and are fundamental in the formation of red blood cells.
