Mimulus guttatus (yellow mimol):
The yellow mimol was introduced in Europe in the last century. Its native environment is that of the humid and cold northern regions; in Italy it is found sporadically along ponds and canals. The height varies from 20 to 45 cm. The flowers bloom from June to September and are yellow with numerous red spots. In flower therapy it is prepared with the solar method: cover the pure water collected in a basin with wild flowers, which grow spontaneously on the banks of the ponds.
