Kieselgur

Description
Kieselgur (known as diatomaceous earth or diatomaceous earth) is a silica-sedimentary rock of organic origin, obtained from fossil residues of microalgae of the diatomaceae family. The raw material is extracted exclusively from freshwater lakes. The powder obtained from grinding diatoms has a light color and a consistency similar to talc. The mineral composition presents a prevalence of silicon, followed by other minerals such as aluminium, magnesium, iron, calcium, and traces of potassium, manganese and titanium.

Instructions for use
Use on potted plants, in the garden or in the field on crops: Dilute 2.5-3% with water and spray on the plants with manual or mechanical means.

Mineralogical composition: 100% amorphous silicon.
Average chemical composition: silicon oxide (SiO) 85.29%, aluminum oxide (AlO) 5.36%, sodium oxide (NaO) 1.27%, ferric oxide (FeO) 1.07%, magnesium oxide (MgO) 0.81%, sulfur trioxide (SO) 0.8%, titanium dioxide (TiO) 0.27%, calcium oxide (CaO) 0.23%, potassium oxide (KO) 0 .18%, phosphorus pentoxide (PO )0.09%.
Raw material: diatomaceous algae diatomaceous earth extracted exclusively from freshwater lakes free from polluting elements.

Warnings
Avoid contact with eyes, the product may cause minor eye irritation. May cause irritation to the respiratory system, avoid breathing the dust or mixture during application. Cleanse with soap and water after handling. Personnel responsible for administering or any other handling of the powder must wear a respirator for the alteration of the dust and the mixture during application (compliant with EN 149 FFP2). We recommend the use of dust masks and protective goggles for collection workers (BS EN 166 compliant). Ensure sufficient air exchange and/or extraction in the working environments. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using. If the product is damp it may be slippery. Keep out of reach of children.

Store indoors in a cool, dry place.
Validity in unopened package: 12 months.
