Diben Drink® Taste Cappuccino Fresenius Kabi High calorie

Nutritionally complete oral food supplement, high-calorie (1.5 kcal / ml), rich in proteins (20% energy), with fibers. High content of monounsaturated fatty acids, modified carbohydrate profile with low glycemic index for better glycemic control.

Indications

Diben® Drink is indicated for the dietary management of patients with or at risk of malnutrition with impaired glucose metabolism such as impaired glucose tolerance, stress hyperglycemia, diabetes mellitus.

Contraindications

Not suitable when enteral feeding is not permitted such as in cases of acute gastrointestinal bleeding, ileus and shock.

Use with caution in case of severe organ failure with impaired metabolism and severe forms of malassimilation.

Not suitable for patients with congenital inability to metabolize the nutrients contained in Diben® DRINK.

Precautions

It should only be used under medical supervision. Suitable as the only source of nourishment. Not suitable for children under 3 years old. Use with caution in children under 6 years old. Not suitable for patients with galactosemia. Ensure adequate fluid intake.

Dosage

Recommended daily dose

• Additional nutrition: 2 - 3 bottles (600 - 900 kcal) / day.
• Complete nutrition: 5 bottles (1500 kcal) / day
