Description
Medical Device with a laxative action, indicated for the symptomatic treatment of astpsis.
It promotes peristalsis, helping to have an adequate bowel evacuation, thus counteracting constipation and preventing the formation of fecal impacts.
It also facilitates the elimination of intestinal gas by reducing the sensation of bloating and abdominal distension.
Macrogol is a water-soluble inert polymer with a high molecular weight that has the ability to bind to the water used for intake by retaining it in the faeces. It determines a rehydration and softening of the fecal mass and facilitates its evacuation. Accelerates intestinal transit by promoting peristalsis. It is not absorbed or metabolized in the gastrointestinal tract and does not lead to water and electrolyte imbalances, if taken with the indicated dose of liquid.
Simethicone is a substance that has the ability to decrease the surface tension of gas bubbles present in the gastrointestinal tract, facilitating their expulsion.

How to use
Use the measuring cup contained in the package to measure out the powder: fill it smooth and not pressed, then remove the excess amount of product with the blade of a knife.

Children aged 6 months to 12 years (adults / children ≤43kg)
- from 6-10 kg: 1 level measuring spoon per day;
- from 10-15 kg: 1-2 level scoops per day;
- from 16-20 kg: 2-3 level scoops per day;
- from 21-43 kg: 3-4 level scoops per day.
The dose should be increased or decreased, depending on the individual response to treatment, to allow for smooth evacuation of soft stools.
The maximum dose needed does not normally exceed 4 scoops per day.
Dissolve the powder in water or other liquid (50 ml per measuring cup) and take immediately. It is advisable to administer the product in the morning if you have to take 1 scoop per day. For larger doses, divide the intake between tramellino and evening.

Adults and children over 12 years of age (> 43 kg)
- 2 to 10 level scoops per day.

Warnings
It is recommended to use the product in pediatric age after consulting ilmedico. Administration to children should be carried out under the direct supervision of an adult.

The product may reduce the residence time in the intestine and thus the absorption of oral medicines. It is therefore advisable to consult ilmedico in case of simultaneous intake of medicinal products for oral use, which in each case must be administered at a distance of at least 2 hours.
