Class IIA Medical Device. Disposable - With Lactoferrin 300mg

Useful treatment for the maintenance and control of the physiological environment of the cervico-vaginal mucosa, to be used in all cases of temporary alteration of the vaginal microbial balance.
Indicated as an adjuvant for the maintenance of the physiological environment of the cervico-vaginal mucosa, it is useful for the prevention and treatment of cervico-vaginal infections and alterations that may arise during pregnancy and which can cause premature rupture of the membranes, PROMs, the shortening of the cervix, and for the prevention of preterm birth.

It can be useful

• As an adjunct in the prevention of spontaneous abortion and preterm birth;
• As an adjuvant in the prevention against the increased risk of abortion related to invasive procedures such as Amniocentesis or Villocentesis;
• As an adjuvant treatment useful in the prevention of preterm birth in the presence of reduced cervicometry or not corresponding to the gestational period;
• As an adjunct in the prevention and treatment of female infertility.

How to use

After washing your hands thoroughly, take a single tablet from the blister. Gently introduce the tablet into the vagina, as deeply as possible. To facilitate the introduction of the vaginal tablet, it is suggested to lie in the supine position, with slightly bent legs. Treatment should be appropriately initiated and terminated in the inter-menstrual period or according to a different medical indication.

Components

Lactoferrin, Microcrystalline cellulose, Mannitol, Croscarmellose carboxymethylcellulose, Vegetable magnesium stearate, HPMC, Glycerol, Silicon dioxide.

Warnings

Single use; do not reuse. The product is for vaginal use. Do not swallow. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity and incompatibility towards any component of the product. The tests carried out on the product to date have not shown sensitization phenomena or other side effects. In case of persistent discomfort, consult your doctor. It may contain lactose. There are no studies on the use of the vaginal tablet in combination with local pharmacological therapies. The product is not intended for pediatric use. Treatment should be appropriately initiated and terminated in the inter-menstrual period or according to a different medical indication. The maximum duration of continuous treatment is 30 days. Prolonged use of the product, as with all topical products, can give rise to sensitization or local irritation, if this happens, stop the treatment and consult your doctor or pharmacist. Do not use the product if the package at the time of first opening is damaged or not perfectly intact. Use the product in accordance with the instructions for use. Keep the product out of sight and reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
