Difoprev® is a system for the prevention of Diabetic Foot consisting of special refillable socks in Meryl®, a high quality microfiber with antibacterial action, soaked in an active ingredient (specific glycoprotein that stimulates the production of elastin and type I and IV collagen ). When wearing stockings, the active ingredient in contact with the skin is released slowly and gradually over 72 hours (3 days). The socks can be washed at any time during the 72 hours, without affecting their effectiveness.
After 3 days, the socks must be soaked again in the active ingredient: using a special Difoprev® capsule / refill, dissolving it in a little water and immersing the socks in them for 30 minutes, the socks are refilled and are ready to be reused again. for the next 3 days of treatment. And so on...
DIFOPREV® allows a deep, constant and continuous hydration of the foot, for a longer period of time than any other topical solution. Thanks to the increase in elastin and type I and type IV collagen, DIFOPREV® restores the elasticity and integrity of the skin, and repairs superficial micro-lesions (potential trigger of infections), maintaining a good state physiological of the skin itself. All this by simply wearing a pair of socks.
The monthly use of DIFOPREV® can be repeated 2-6 times a year, according to the condition of the skin and the indications of the specialist.
