CE medical device, class I. Dilagent offers an effective and targeted training to the muscles of the anorectal tract, favoring their functional recovery.
Anal dilator in soft silicone indicated in the treatment of pathologies of the anorectal tract sustained by sphincter hypertonia such as fissure, hemorrhoids and painful glispasms after surgical treatments on the anorectal tract. It also finds an effective use in post-surgical stenosis of the anal canal.
The anal fissure and in general all the painful states of the anus (symptomatic haemorrhoids with hypertonus, haemorrhoidal thrombosis, pain after surgery and anal spasms) are usually associated with hypertonicity of the internal anal sphincter. The “long” shape of the probe allows the dilator to be anchored above the buccal muscle, giving heat not only to the internal sphincter but also to the buccal muscle itself and to the distal rectus musculature. This important function of the Dilagent determines muscle relaxation with a curative effect in the aforementioned morbid states.
Furthermore, the contracture of the puborectal muscle (puborectal sling) is considered one of the main mechanisms for the maintenance of fecal continence.During defecation, the relaxation of the anal sphincters and the puborectal sling, allows the straightening of the anus-anal-rectal canal thus favoring evacuation. If, on the other hand, during defecation, there is a paradoxical contraction of the puborectal muscle, the anorectal angle becomes acute due to a greater tension of the muscle itself, thus preventing the emptying of the ampulla (anism).
The Dilagent probe promotes the relaxation of the puborectal muscle thanks to the direct transmission of heat, thus making it effective in the treatment of anism.

How to use
Before the treatment, it is advisable to carry out a half wolf with hot water and Sapigen K for 5/8 minutes in order to relax the perianal muscles. Once the air contained in the probe has been removed using the supplied syringe, lubricate the dilator with abundant Dilatan Cream and gently insert it into the anus until the handle comes into contact with the anal margin. For the first 2 or 3 days, inject 10/20 ml of hot water into the probe (40/45 °). As the therapy proceeds, increase the amount of hot water up to a maximum of 50 ml. Greater quantities could cause a continuous and annoying urge to defecate. The length of the infusion tube allows you to easily perform these maneuvers in full autonomy.
The treatment must be continued for 3-4 weeks.
After each use, wash the probe with water and neutral soap. Dry with a soft cloth before storing. The use is strictly personal.
