What is it for?

This product contains a thermal accumulator gel capable of bringing the benefits of thermotherapy or cryotherapy in various anal pathological conditions, it is useful in cases of:
stenosis (narrowing) of the orifice of cicatitial or idiopathic origin;
hypertonus or sphincter spasm sustained by hemorrhoids, essential proctalgia, fissure, with possible secondary constipation;
prevention of postoperative stenosis after surgery for haemorrhoids and fistula.

How to use it

It depends on the type of use, in cryotherapy, cool the dilator in the refrigerator and use it or immerse it for 10-15 minutes in water and ice while in thermotherapy, heat the dilator to be used in hot water (no more than 50ì) for about 10/15 minutes.
Then spread the dilator with cream or lubricating ointments. Insert the dilator into the anal orifice slowly up to its base while sitting on the bidet or lying on a bottle, indifferently before or after defecation. In case of sphincter spasm it is advisable to precede the dilation with a warm-warm bidet which has a relaxing effect on the muscles of the anal sphincters. The dilator should be kept in place for about one to three minutes and then slowly extracted. It is advisable not to get up and not to walk with the dilator inserted.

Technical features

Dilatan Plus anal dilators consist of an inert plastic casing with a large disc at the base to facilitate a good grip. They contain a thermo-accumulator gel capable of bringing the benefits of thermotherapy or cryotherapy in various anal pathological conditions.

Packaging and warnings

The product is seen in a package with 2 dilators with a diameter of 18 and 20 mm, the dilators can be applied warm and therefore not above 50 ° C in hypertonicity or painful spasm, or cold and therefore not below 0 ° C in the presence of anal bleeding. In all other cases the dilator temperature is less important.
