Micro-enemas

CE disposable medical device.
The Glicerolax dm medical device is a disposable micro-enema, with temporary action and duration, indicated to facilitate the evacuation of faeces and can be used whenever it is necessary to relieve intestinal constipation or in preparation for rectal exams.
Preparations for rectal use based on glycerol have an immediate evacuating action by acting on the terminal part of the rectum without being absorbed by the intestinal mucosa. In fact, glycerol softens, lubricates and moves the fecal mass, facilitating its expulsion. The presence of rice starch and natural Mallow extract gives the product an emollient and protective effect on the rectal mucosa and helps to improve local tolerance.
The product contains rice starch, completely gluten-free.

The product is gluten-free.

How are these micro-enemas applied?
Adults and adolescents: 1 - 2 micro-enemas of 9 g in 24 hours as needed.

Instructions for Use:

• remove the cap from the cannula;
• lubricate the cannula with a few drops of the solution itself;
• introduce the cannula into the anal orifice without squeezing the bellows;
• squeeze the bellows to introduce fluid into the rectum;
• remove the cannula without releasing the compression of the bellows to avoid reabsorbing the liquid.

The microenema is single use, therefore it must not be reused.
Any residual product must be eliminated.

Components contained therein
Vegetable glycerol 76.7% (equal to 6.9 g per 9 g micro-enema), rice starch, Mallow fluid extract, purified water to taste
The product contains rice starch, completely gluten-free.

Warnings and contraindications
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to one or more components, acute abdominal pain or of unknown origin, nausea or vomiting, intestinal obstruction or stenosis, rectal bleeding of unknown origin, acute haemorrhoidal crisis, severe dehydration.
In case of persistent constipation consult your doctor.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding: although there are no obvious contraindications to the use of the device during pregnancy, it is recommended to use it only in case of need and after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.

How to store the product
Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the box or if the package does not appear intact.
Store in the original package away from light and heat sources.
The expiry date refers to the product in intact and correctly stored packaging.
Do not disperse in the environment after use.
Keep out of reach of children.

The product is sold in packs with 6 evacuating micro-enemas for adults of 9 g.
