Diprolat SMP Pharma Food Supplement

DiproLat Smp is recommended in cases of α-β-galactosidase deficiency: lactose intolerance and poor digestion of insoluble fibers which, reaching the colon, ferment giving rise to gas production.

Components and Features

Fennel es 0.5% in OE : belonging to the Apiaceae family, from ripe fruits we obtain particularly rich essential oil characterized by trans-anethole, estragole,
fencone and α-fellandrene. The main properties attributed to it are: spasmolytic, prokinetic, anti-fermentative and anti-meteoric. It is therefore mainly used in the symptomatic treatment of digestive disorders (bloating, digestive insufficiency, belching, fl atulence) and as an adjuvant in the treatment of irritable colon. Recently it has also been attributed an antibacterial and antifungal action.

Alpha and Beta Galactosidase: are a group of enzymes responsible for the hydrolysis of galactoxides into monosaccharides. Galactosides are defined as all molecules characterized by a glucidic portion containing galactose or an organic, non-glucidic molecular part called aglycone or genin. Depending on whether the glycosidic bond is "above" or "below" the plane of the galactose molecule, galactosides are classi fi ed into α- or β-galactosides. The most important β-galactosidase is lactase which, secreted by the mucous membrane of the small intestine, presides over the digestion of lactose ingested with food, drugs and supplements, in the two monomers that constitute it: glucose and galactose to allow digestion thus avoiding the onset of bloating, indigestion, fl atulence and heartburn.

α-galactosidase : it is an enzyme absent in humans but it is essential for the digestion of some carbohydrates (verbascose, raphinose and stachyose). These oligosaccharides,
mainly contained in legumes, they cause fl atulence because they are indigestible and non-absorbable, but fermentable by the intestinal microbial flora. An adequate exogenous supply of α-galactosidase allows to break down the aforementioned oligosaccharides into fructose, glucose and galactose, before they reach the colon, thus avoiding that they become a substrate for anaerobic fermentation, preventing the formation of gas.

Dimethicone : antifoam useful in symptomatic cases of fl atulence and meteorism.

α-galactosidase act on foods of plant origin which can cause the formation of intestinal gas:

Cereals and derivatives: Oats, wholemeal flour, spelled, corn, millet,
Barley, wholemeal bread, wholemeal pasta, brown rice, rye.
Legumes: Chickpeas, various qualities of beans, green beans, broad beans, lentils,
Lupins, Peas, Soybeans.
Vegetables: Asparagus, Beets, Broccoli, Carrots, Cabbage,
Cabbages, Brussels sprouts, Cucumbers, Chicory, Onions, Mushrooms,
Salad, Potatoes, Leeks, Peppers, Parsley, Pumpkin, Zucchini.
Others: Peanuts, Chestnuts, Almonds, Hazelnuts, Walnuts, Pine Nuts,
Pistachios, Sesame, Grapes, Raisins.

β-galactosidase acts on lactose-containing foods which can cause the formation of intestinal gas:
Milk, Dairy products and the like, foods that use milk derivatives, and some vegetables: Mushrooms (only Maitake), Broccoli, Pears in minimal part.

How to use

We recommend taking 1 or 2 chewable tablets as needed to be taken before or after main meals.

They do not contain lactose and gluten.
