How to keep lipstick color intense and vibrant all day long? The duration of any lipstick is increased by the base, which can be a powder, a foundation or a concealer. Before applying the lipstick, apply a small dose of base all over the lips or just along the contour. The use of lip liner also increases the hold of the lipstick.
