Curcumin: extracted from the rhizome of various Curcuma species, in particular Curcuma Longa, it is represented here by Meriva ® (patented complex of Curcumin and Phosphatidylcholine), which guarantees greater stability and better absorption. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and anti-tumor properties. As for the first point, it has properties similar to NSAIDs (inhibiting COX-2 and Lipoxygenase and reducing the synthesis of pro-inflammatory Eicosanoids), without having significant side effects (eg gastric). It is therefore indicated in all acute inflammatory processes. The association with Bromelain also increases its bioavailability.
