Your bite in three simple steps

Step 1: Preparation - What you need to get started

• A kettle or saucepan to heat the water
• A bowl to hold the heated water
• A clock or a timer
• A mirror to facilitate the positioning of the bite

Carefully follow the instructions below to obtain a correct fit of the bite. The adaptation must take place on the teeth of the upper arch.

Phase 2: Adaptation

• Boil the water for 3 minutes and pour it into a container.
• Take the bite out of its case and take the fork for adaptation, tilting it down, and insert it into the bite through the holes present.
• Insert the bite in your mouth to familiarize yourself with the subsequent maneuvers.
• Take the adaptation fork and immerse the bite completely in the boiling water for 7 seconds
• Take the bite out of the water and shake it vigorously to remove any remaining water and let it cool for a few seconds, by doing so the bite will be hot but will not burn.
• Slightly widen the walls of the splint to facilitate the insertion of the teeth. Be careful that the sides of the bite do not bend inward and get bitten.
• Position yourself in front of a mirror and insert the bite in your mouth, closing your teeth without clenching too much. Keep your lips closed for at least a minute and suck firmly to eliminate the air inside your mouth.
• During the suction, compress the bite from the outside against the dental arch by lightly pressing your fingers on the mouth and from the inside push with the tongue on the frontal incisors for at least one minute. It is important that the splint is made to stick to the teeth and not to the gums.

Phase 3: Stabilization

• After a few minutes, take the bite out of your mouth and immerse it under a stream of cold water.
• Detach the “X” support tab from the bite, which is now ready to wear.
• If the bite is not very stable, repeat the customization operations.

CARE AND HYGIENE

Extend the life of your night bite, keep Rilax® clean and hygienic.

Before storing it in its box, wash it thoroughly with toothpaste and a toothbrush. Approximately every two weeks, use sanitizing tablets for dentures or soak the bite in mouthwash for about 10 minutes.

Failure to clean the product leads to the proliferation of bacteria with the consequent formation of unpleasant odors and plaque deposits.

WARNINGS

Do not use if

• You are under 14 years old
• You haven't developed permanent dentition
• Wear removable dentures or braces
• The fitting fork is still inserted into the bite

Always ask your dentist for advice before using Rilax.

Do not throw away the adaptation device because, if your dental situation changes, you can always reshape (up to a maximum of 10 times) the bite without altering its physical-mechanical characteristics.

Never wash the bite with boiling water and avoid storing it near heat sources.

Dr. Brux is made of EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl-Acetate), a thermoplastic material. It does not contain silicone.
