Main function of the Medical Device

The medical device has a retropulsive function of the shoulders .

Characteristics

Relative immobilization orthosis of the shoulder girdle and retention of the shoulders in retropulsion by means of a double strap acting as a figure eight bandage.

Straps with “crocodile clip” ends removable with hook and loop fasteners.

How to wear it

It is advisable to have the first positioning carried out by a qualified specialist.

Fully unfold and unfold the straps. Detach the “crocodile clip” ends with hook and loop fasteners from the straps. Place the padded shield between the two shoulder blades with the Dr. GIBAUD® logo facing down. Pass the straps over the shoulders and then under the armpits. Insert the ends into the ring fixed to the shield by passing them from bottom to top; fold the ends over the straps themselves. Forcefully pull the two straps until the shoulders are retropulsed.

If necessary, cut the straps to the desired length, reposition the “crocodile clip” ends and fix them on the removable double hook-and-loop insert on the straps.

Warnings and precautions for use

Store in a dry environment away from excessive heat and light.

Do not prolong the use of the product without medical advice.

The product is designed for use by one person only, do not use it on multiple people.

The product must not be used in direct contact with damaged skin.

If you encounter problems in using the product such as the appearance of pain or obvious local signs, remove it and contact a healthcare professional.

In the event of a serious accident following the use of the product, contact the manufacturer and the local health care provider.

It is advisable, the first time, to have the product positioned by a qualified operator and to carry out subsequent positioning independently in the same way.

Washing instructions

Hand wash in warm water with neutral soap or detergent, rinse well, wring gently, let dry horizontally. Do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron, do not dry clean.

The product must be disposed of in compliance with current regulations.
