Homeopathic cough suppressant remedy to be used in case of dry and irritating cough. Acute laryngitis pharyngitis. Laryngospasm. Whooping cough in all stages. Symptomatic cough of pulmonary tuberculosis.
How Dr. Reckeweg R9 is formulated:
Each active ingredient contained in this product is useful in various pathologies:
- Causticum ammonium: convulsive cough accompanied by a lot of liquid mucus.
- Belladonna: attack of convulsive cough, dry mucous membranes.
- Bryonia: dry cough with chest pains.
- Chamomilla: convulsive cough, phlegm and hoarseness with accumulation of viscous mucus in the throat, dry cough, especially in the evening and at night.
- Coccus cacti: hypersensitivity of the mucous membrane of the pharynx. Spasmodic cough with viscous expectorations.
- Corallium rubrum: violent attack of convulsive cough with form of suffocation.
- Cuprum aceticum: spasmodic cough, viscous mucus, dyspnoea.
- Drosera: convulsive cough with cyanosis and asphyxia, spasmodic asthma.
- Ipecacuanha: dry asphyxiating cough with spasm of the glottis, nausea and emesia.
- Spongia: cough attack, cough at night.
- Sticta pulm: cold from the nose to the pharynx and trachea, followed by bronchitis. Pressure on the root of the nose.
How to use Dr. Reckeweg R9
The dosage for this homeopathic product is as follows:
- For adults we recommend 10 to 15 drops in a little water for at least 4 - 6 times a day.
- For children we recommend 8 to 10 drops in a little water for 4 - 6 times a day.
