Crataegusoxyacantha
Hawthorn has a recognized sedative and muscle relaxant activity which makes it particularly suitable in states of stress and anxiety. It has been shown that oral administration has calming effects on the CNS, resulting particularly indicated in sleep disturbances and in situations characterized by excessive emotionality and anxiety, in stress and in menopause. It has also been established that the plant helps to eliminate the emotional component of certain hypertensive states. The studies carried out show an important activity on the cardiovascular system with a real improvement in resistance to effort. The phytocomplex carries out its action on b-adrenergic receptors (as a partial agonist) and by inhibiting phosphodiesterase, which is followed by an increase in the intracellular rate of cyclic AMP, in turn linked to an increase in free calcium ions; these effects are certainly linked to the presence of procyanidineoligomers and flavonoids such as vitexin. The main actions on the cardiovascular system are the following: increase in the force of contraction of the musculocardiac, antiarrhythmic effect, increase in coronary flow, peripheral vasodilation.
Hieracium pilosella
The plant is used in the treatment of water retention and overweight, manifesting a marked diuretic activity. This activity is associated with an anti-uric and antiseptic action, favoring the reparative processes of the bladder mucosa. The plant is also indicated in the treatment of recurrent cystitis thanks to umbelliferone with antibiotic activity. It also has a choleretic and cholagogue action that supports and favors the antitoxic activity of the liver.
Equisetum arvense
It is especially known for its remineralizing action, thanks to its high silica content. This mineral would have a leading role in facilitating the calcification of bones, especially in the early stages of their formation. It has also been seen that animals fed a particularly low-silicon diet show less callus formation after a fracture, and their bone has a lower density than animals receiving normal amounts of silicon in their diet. Horsetail has a diuretic action: it is useful in edema, in forced diuresis in case of bacterial and phlogistic diseases in the urinary tract and against gravel. The diuresis caused by the drug is purely water, without alteration of the electrolyte content. The plant is widely used in cosmetology for the prevention of wrinkles, skin aging, cellulite. Given its remineralizing action, it is used in the case of brittle nails and hair.
Smilax medical
Antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and hepatoprotective properties have been documented. It is also used to treat enuresis and symptoms of amenopause. It is used as a depurative for its diuretic and aphoretic properties. The plant contains trace elements, minerals, sugars, saponins and steroids. Most of its pharmacological activity comes from saponins and steroids and represent the starting source for the laboratory production of human steroids such as estrogen and testosterone.
Solidago virga-aurea
Solidago owes its important anti-inflammatory and vitamin-P-like action to the presence of flavonoids and triterpene saponins. The components of the top of solidago have a diuretic and anti-uric effect of considerable importance; at the same time the drug also exerts a notable anti-inflammatory and evasoprotective action. It is used in folk medicine to stimulate diuresis and to favor the expulsion of stones. In phytotherapy it is used to treat acute renal affections and rheumatic disorders with an edematous component. Goldenrod inhibits the growth of candida albicans.
Spiraea ulmaria
The main constituents are: flavonoids (spireaoside) and monotropitoside, a heterosidesalicylic, which by hydrolysis frees methyl salicylate. It manifests an azide and dechlorinating uretic action, antirheumatic, uricosuric, sudorific and febrifuge action.It is attributed a positive action against pathologies such as: hyperhydrosiprofuse, muscle and joint rheumatism, epicondylitis. It has an important diuretic and anti-cellulite action. Numerous authors confirm its effectiveness in the treatment of edema of the lower limbs, ascites and joint effusions.

Crataegus oxyacantha (Hawthorn) young shoots; hieracium pilosella (Pilosella) plant; equisetum arvense (Horsetail) plant; medical smilax (Salsaparilla) root; solidagovirga-aurea (Solidago) flowering tops; spiraea ulmaria (Meadowsweet) flowers and flowering tops.

How to use
Take 10 drops 3 times a day.
