UV light is the leading cause of sun damage, but High Energy Visible Light (HEVIS) can also trigger free radicals that can cause additional stress to the skin.
Eucerin Sun Gel-Creme Dry Touch Oil Control SPF 30 is an ultra-light sunscreen for the body. It has been clinically and dermatologically proven to be suitable for all skin types including sensitive, oily and acne-prone skin.

The cream-gel with sunscreen offers high UV protection: the UVA and UVB filters meet the high standards defined by the European legislation on cosmetic products and the levels of UVA protection are higher than the minimum EU requirements. Eucerin's Advanced Spectral Technology combines these broad spectrum, photostable UVA / UVB filters with Licocalcone A to neutralize free radicals caused by UV rays and HEVIS light. The formula also contains Glycyrrhetinic Acid, which supports the skin's natural DNA repair mechanism, and Oil Control technology with mattifying pigments that leave an immediate dry touch sensation on the skin.

Eucerin Sun Gel-Creme Dry Touch Oil Control SPF 30 absorbs quickly and leaves no residue on the skin. It is water resistant, sweat resistant and 'sandproof' (less likely to stick to the skin). And, like all sunscreen products in the Eucerin line, it does not contain octinoxate and oxybenzone - the UV filters known to be harmful to coral reefs - and complies with the Hawaii Corals Treaty.

Three steps for optimal sun protection

Select the right product

Choose a product that offers the right level of protection for your skin. It is supposed to protect against UVA and UVB rays and offers a HEVIS light system. It should also be suitable for your skin type and condition.

Use the right amount

It is important to use a sufficient amount of the product and reapply it at regular intervals.

You can use your palm to measure the amount. We recommend a thick layer of sunscreen (extending from the tip of your middle finger to your wrist) for each area on the diagram (1-11):

• Face and neck
• Both arms
• Chest
• Belly
• The upper legs (front and back)
• The lower legs (front and back) plus the feet
• The shoulders and upper back
• The lower back

You need about the size of a golf ball to cover the body. To protect sensitive skin on the face and neck (area 1) we recommend using our face sunscreen products.

Apply generously

Make sure all exposed parts have the protection they need. Some areas are easy to skip. Don't forget the ears, the back of the neck, the back and shoulders, the back of the arms, the hands and feet and the areas at the ends of the swimsuit.
Eucerin * research indicates that, on average, around 14% of a woman's back body and 22% of a man's are often exposed to the sun's rays with absolutely no protection.

Important instructions for use

• Apply generously before sun exposure and reapply frequently - especially after swimming, sweating or towel use - to maintain original protection
• Reducing the quantity means significantly lowering the level of protection
• Do not stay in the sun for too long, even if you use a product with a sunscreen
• Excessive sun exposure poses a serious health threat
• Keep babies and small children out of direct sunlight
• Avoid contact with eyes
• Allow the product to absorb completely, and avoid direct contact with fabrics and hard surfaces to prevent stains
