GRAINS

Description
Ready-to-use rodenticidal bait based on an anticoagulant active substance, known as diphethialone, effective against house mouse (Mus musculus), gray rat (Rattusnorvegicus) and black rat (Rattus rattus) even after a single ingestion.
Contains a bittering substance (denatonium benzoate) designed to reduce the risk of accidental ingestion by children and a dye. It can be used in and around industrial, rural, civil buildings, goods depots, homes, cellars, garages, closets.
Due to their delayed mode of action, anticoagulant rodenticides may take 4 to 10 days after taking the bait to be effective.
Only for professionals.

How to use
Read and follow product instructions before use as well as information accompanying the product or provided at the point of sale.
Before placing baits, conduct a site survey of the infested area and an on-site assessment to identify rodent species, locations of activity, and determine probable cause and extent of infestation.
Remove food sources that are within easy reach of rodents (e.g. spilled grain or food scraps). Also, do not clean up the infested area just before treatment, as this will only disturb the rodent population and make it more difficult to gain acceptance of the bait.
The product should only be used within an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) system, which includes, amongst others, hygiene measures and, where possible, physical control methods. Where possible, secure bait boxes to the ground or other structures. Bait containers must be clearly labeled with the following information “do not move or open”; “contains a rodenticide”; “product name or authorization number”; “active substance(s)” and “in case of accident, consult a Poison Control Center (112)”.
When the product is used in public areas, the treated areas must be reported during the treatment period. Next to the baits, a warning must be made available indicating the risk of primary and secondary poisoning by anticoagulant and the first aid measures to be followed in case of poisoning.
Place the bait at the bait point by means of a dosing device. Minimize dust (e.g. by wet cleaning). The bait must be secured so that it cannot be dragged out of the bait container.
Place the product out of the reach of children, birds, pets, farm animals and other non-target animals.
Place the product away from food, drink and animal feed, as well as utensils or surfaces that may come into contact with the product.
Do not eat, drink or smoke when using the product. Wash hands and directly exposed skin after using the product.
If bait consumption is low compared to the apparent size of the infestation, consider relocating bait points to other locations and changing bait formulation types. If, after a 35 day treatment period, baits are still consumed and no decrease in rodent activity is observed, the most likely cause must be determined. If other elements have already been excluded, it is likely that there are resistant rodents: consider, therefore, where available, the use of a non-anticoagulant rodenticide or
