DT3

Rodenticide paste

Description
Ready-to-use rodenticidal bait based on an anticoagulant active substance, known as Diphethialone, effective against House mouse (Mus musculus), Gray rat (Rattusnorvegicus) and Black rat (Rattus rattus) even after a single ingestion. DT3 PASTA contains a bittering substance (Denatonium Benzoate) designed to reduce the risk of accidental ingestion by children and a colourant. DT3 PASTA can be used in and around industrial, rural, civil buildings, goods depots, homes, cellars, garages, closets. Due to their delayed mode of action, anticoagulant rodenticides may take 4 to 10 days after taking the bait to be effective.

How to use
MICE: up to 50 g of bait per container. If several bait boxes are needed, place them at least 1-1.5 meters apart.
RATS: Up to 200g of bait per container. If multiple bait boxes are needed, place them at least 4-5 meters apart. Bait boxes should be checked at least every (for mice 2-3 days) (for rats 5-7 days) each treatment and at least weekly thereafter, in order to check if the bait is accepted, the containers are intact and to remove rodent bodies. Refill the container when necessary.

Warnings
- Read and follow the instructions on the product before use as well as the information accompanying the product or provided at the point of sale.
- Before placing baits, carry out a site survey of the infested area and an on-site assessment in order to identify the rodent species, the places of activity and determine the probable cause and extent of the infestation.
- Remove food sources that are easily accessible to rodents (e.g. spilled grains or food scraps). Also, do not clean up the infested area just before treatment, as this will only disturb the rodent population and make it more difficult to gain acceptance of the bait.
- The product must only be used within an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) system, which includes, amongst others, hygiene measures and, where possible, physical control methods.
- Where possible, secure bait boxes to the ground or other structures.
- Bait boxes must be clearly labeled with the following information “do not move or open”; “contains a rodenticide”; “product name or authorization number”; “active substance(s)” and “in case of accident, consult a Poison Control Center(112)”.
- When the product is used in public areas, the treated areas must be reported during the treatment period. Next to the baits, a warning must be made available indicating the risk of primary and secondary poisoning by anticoagulant and the first aid measures to be followed in case of poisoning.
- The bait must be secured so that it cannot be dragged out of the bait container.
- Place the product out of the reach of children, birds, pets, farm animals and other non-target animals.
- Place the product away from food, drink and animal feed, as well as utensils or surfaces that may come into contact with the product.
- When handling the product, wear protective gloves resistant to latex chemicals or equivalent in accordance with standard EN374-1:2
