DulcoSoft Irregularity and Swelling SANOFI - Medical Device

Powder for oral solution, is used for the symptomatic treatment of constipation as:

• rehydrates and softens hard stools;
• helps to have regular bowel movements;
• prevents the formation of fecal impacts;
• promotes the elimination of gas, reducing the sensation of bloating and abdominal distension.

Unsweetened.
Works within 24-72 hours.

Macrogol 4000, silicon dioxide, simethicone, sucralose.
Gluten free .
Lactose free .

How to use

Use the measuring cup contained in the package to measure out the powder: fill it level and not pressed, then remove the excess amount of product with the blade of a knife.
1 measuring cup thus filled corresponds to approximately 4.5 g of product.
- Adults and children over 12 years of age: 2 to 5 level scoops per day.
- Children aged 6 months to 12 years:

The dose can be increased or decreased according to the individual response to treatment, without exceeding the maximum dose of 4 level scoops per day in children up to 12 years and 10 level scoops per day in adults and children over 12 years of age.
The appropriate dose is the minimum dose sufficient to produce regular evacuation of soft stools.
Dissolve the powder in water or other beverage (50ml for each scoop) and take immediately. It is advisable to administer the product in the morning if the minimum dose is to be taken (1 or 2 scoops per day). For larger doses divide the intake between morning and evening.
If you do not notice any improvement after 7 days of treatment, consult your doctor.
It is suitable for diabetics as it does not contain sugars.
It can be used in patients on a low sodium diet.
Suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding; in these situations, it is advisable to consult your doctor before use.

Warnings

It is recommended to use the product in pediatric age after consulting your doctor. Administration to children should be carried out under the direct supervision of an adult.
Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Do not use if package is opened or damaged.
The product can reduce the residence time in the intestine and therefore the absorption of medicinal products for oral use. It is therefore recommended to take DulcoSoft Irregularity and Swelling at least 2 hours after taking other oral medications. In case of unwanted reactions, stop the treatment and consult your doctor.
Do not take in case of known hypersensitivity to one or more components, paralytic ileus, perforation, intestinal obstruction or stenosis, severe inflammatory bowel diseases (eg ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, toxic megacolon).
The use of laxatives is contraindicated in case of acute abdominal pain or of unknown origin, nausea and vomiting, rectal bleeding of unknown origin and in case of severe dehydration.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Side effects

Certain gastrointestinal disorders (stomach pain, flatulence, abdominal bloating, nausea and fecal incontinence) may occur.
Diarrhea is a consequence of taking too much DulcoSoft Irregularity and Swelling and can be avoided by decreasing the intake dose.
Cases of hypersensitivity reactions (skin rash) have been reported rarely following the use of products containing macrogol. In case, stop the treatment and consult your doctor.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and away from heat sources. Close carefully after use.
The expiry date refers to the correctly stored product.
