The Glicerolax DM medical device is a disposable micro-enema, with temporary action and duration, indicated to facilitate the evacuation of stools and can be used whenever it is necessary to relieve intestinal constipation or in preparation for rectal exams.
Preparations for rectal use based on glycerol have an immediate evacuating action by acting on the terminal part of the rectum without being absorbed by the intestinal mucosa.Glycerol, in fact, softens, lubricates and moves the fecal mass, facilitating its expulsion. The presence of rice starch and natural Mallow extract gives the product an emollient and protective effect on the rectal mucosa and helps to improve local tolerance.
The product contains rice starch, completely gluten-free.
The product is gluten-free.

How to use
Children: 1 - 2 micro-enemas of 3 g in 24 hours as needed.
Infants: 1 micro-enema of 3 g in 24 hours as needed.
Instructions for Use:
1) remove the cap from the cannula;
2) lubricate the cannula with a few drops of the solution itself;
3) introduce the cannula into the anal orifice without squeezing the bellows;
4) compress the bellows to introduce the liquid into the rectum;
5) extract the cannula without stopping the compression of the bellows to avoid absorbing the liquid.
WARNING : in infants and children up to 3 years of age, introduce the cannula no more than half of its length.
The microenema is single use, therefore it must not be reused.
Any residual product must be eliminated.

Components
Vegetable glycerol 76.7% (equal to 2.3 g per 3 g micro-enema), rice starch, mallow extract, purified water to taste
The product contains rice starch, completely gluten-free.

Warnings
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to one or more components, acute abdominal pain or of unknown origin, nausea or vomiting, intestinal obstruction or stenosis, rectal bleeding of unknown origin, acute haemorrhoidal crisis, severe dehydration.
In case of persistent constipation consult your doctor.

Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the box or if the package does not appear intact.
Store in the original package away from light and heat sources.
The expiry date refers to the product in intact and correctly stored packaging.
Do not disperse in the environment after use.
Keep out of reach of children.
