Characteristics:
Fucus is a seaweed particularly rich in trace elements, vitamins, factors which contribute to exerting a purifying and metabolic toning activity. Fucus is useful at the beginning of a slimming treatment as, by promoting thyroid function and stimulating general turnover, it is sometimes the starter of the slimming process.
Fucus, thanks to its richness in iodine, is able to cause an increase in thyroid function.
Particularly suitable is its use in cases of subjects with modest notes of thyroid hypofunctionality (pale, chilly, weak subject) and hydrosaline retention since, thanks to the contribution in organic iodine, they are able to regulate its functionality. By increasing the concentration of intrathyroid iodide, the synthesis of thyroid hormones can occur in a balanced way, and only with high and prolonged dosages over time, signs of hyperfunctionality of the gland may occur.
The action of Fucus, which begins to show after at least 3 weeks of therapy, is mainly localized in the areas richest in adipose tissue (hips, thighs ..).
The alginate contained in it has a mild laxative action.


Contraindications:
- hypersensitivity to the individual components.
- hyperthyroidism.
