Ectoin 2% Ophthalmic solution

CE medical device, sterile class I, which contains 2% Ectoin, a natural-protective molecule, which has anti-inflammatory properties and stabilizes the cell membranes. It is an isotonic solution and can be used to treat and prevent the symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis. Itching, redness or excessive tearing can be effectively relieved. It protects against the harmful effects of allergens and supports the repair processes of irritated and sensitized conjunctiva.

How to use
Unless otherwise prescribed, apply 1-2 drops per eye even more times a day. Children aged 10 years and younger should be assisted by an adult at the time of administration.
1. Remove the protective cap of the bottle, avoiding touching the tip of the dropper underneath.
2. Place your index and middle fingers on the circular plate at the top of the bottle and your thumb under the bottle.
3. Before using Ectoal for the first time, turn the bottle down and press the base with your thumb 2-3 times, until the first drops come out. Do not cut off the tip of the dropper.
4. Tilt your head back and gently push the lower eyelid down with your index finger and look up. Avoid direct contact of the dropper tip with your fingers, the surface of the eye or possibly the contact lens.
5. Apply Ectoal in the conjunctival sac, pressing the bottle firmly once. Thanks to the patented pump mechanism, exactly one drop will be released.
6. Close the eye slowly to facilitate the distribution of the solution over the entire ocular surface.
7. Repeat the procedure for the other eye.
8. After each use, dry the tip of the bottle and close with the protective cap.

Warnings
It should not be used after eye surgery.
It must not be used in case of hypersensitivity to ectoin or any other of the ingredients of the ophthalmic solution.
If an allergic reaction occurs, use should be stopped immediately.
To ensure hygiene, each bottle should be used by one person only.
Can be used with contact lenses. There is no known interaction with contact lenses.
There are no known interactions between Ectoal and other eye drops or ointments for topical ocular use. Wait at least 15 minutes after using Ectoal before applying any other medical device or drug to the eye.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medical device in case of suspected pregnancy, pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Store at a temperature between 2 ° C and 25 ° C.
Do not use for more than 6 weeks after first opening.
