RD3
Food supplement with antioxidant and immunomodulating activity, able to potentiate the body's defenses and counteract the negative effects of free radicals. Particularly indicated as an adjunct to therapy in allergic, asthmatic, COPD patients, with acute and / or recurrent respiratory infections, and dermatitis.
Resveratrol
Natural polyphenol with an antioxidant action and stimulating the activity of the immune system; it also demonstrated an anti-inflammatory activity (due to the inhibition of the transcription factor nf-kb), not inferior to that of corticosteroids, compared to which it is more effective in reducing neutrophilic inflammation, especially in subjects affected by bpco. Recently, resveratrol has been shown to reduce the replication of viruses in the respiratory epithelium
Curcumin
Obtained from the curcuma longa plant, it carries out antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antiviral, antibacterial activities . It has been shown to be effective in preventing and reducing the oxidative stress induced by active and passive cigarette smoking, and in restoring the action of steroids, significantly reduced by free radicals, in both asthma and bpco .
Quercetina
Flavonoid with antioxidant action and inhibiting viral replication (in vitro and invivo); an important immunoregulatory activity of quercetin has recently been demonstrated, especially with regard to key cells of the immune response, the dendritic cells
Vitamin D
Vitamin essential for the immune system. Many studies have shown a link between vitamin D deficiency and numerous pathologies: respiratory and allergic diseases, autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular pathologies, metabolic syndromes and neoplasms; moreover, vitamin D increases the efficacy of steroid therapy, both in vitro and in vivo.
Zinc
A zinc deficiency can cause a dysfunction of the immune response, with a reduction in the number of natural killer cells and a consequent increase in infections affecting the respiratory tract. Zinc is then essential to counteract the negative effects of free radicals and has an important anti-inflammatory activity.
