EmofiX Ointment DMG Italia - Medical Device

Emofix is a haemostatic ointment with a barrier action indicated for the containment and prevention of bleeding episodes of the skin and mucous membranes such as, for example: epistaxis of even slight or traumatic essential origin, small skin wounds.

Composition

Blend of saturated fatty acids, yeast protein extract, phosphatidylcholine, vitamin E acetate, beeswax, soybean oil, stearyl alcohol, calcium, potassium and magnesium chlorides, glyceryl monostearate, methyl and propyl paroxybenzoate, BHT.

How to use

• Containment of the bleeding episode: apply a sufficient quantity of ointment to cover the affected area.
• Prevention of the recurrence of nosebleeds: apply the product twice a day for at least two weeks after the acute episode, or according to medical opinion.
• If the product is to be applied to the nasal mucosa, we recommend using the applicator cannula, included in the package.
• Thoroughly clean the cannula after each application and avoid mixed use.

Warnings

• Do not use the product in case of known hypersensitivity to the components of the product.
• In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult your doctor.
• Burning, nasal itching and rhinorrhea may occur only in the first days of treatment, which normally tend to disappear in the continuation of therapy. If this does not happen, stop using the product and consult your doctor.
• Do not use the product if the package is not intact.
• Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the package.
• Keep Emofix out of the sight and reach of children.

storage

The expiry date indicated refers to the product in intact packaging, correctly stored.
Close the tube tightly after use.
It is preferable to keep the product at room temperature and in any case not higher than 30 ° C. In case of exposure to temperatures other than those indicated, the product may undergo variations in compactness, without any deterioration in quality. It is sufficient to keep Emofix at room temperature for it to regain its original consistency.
