Food supplement based on artichoke, milk thistle, glutathione, dandelion, phyllanthus, desmodium which, thanks to their antioxidant capacity, can be useful in maintaining normal liver function.

Property

• Artichoke: the artichoke contains two molecules with a high hepatoprotective capacity: cynarin and chlorogenic acid. Cynarin is a powerful antioxidant, promotes diuresis and bile production and secretion, helps the intestine digest fats and absorb vitamins. Chlorogenic acid has the ability to bind to potentially hepatotoxic compounds and to promote their elimination.
• Milk thistle: contains an important hepatoprotective molecule: silymarin. Lasilimarin is able to protect the liver from toxic substances such as alcohol, drugs, pesticides introduced with the diet: this molecule carries out its action by inhibiting the peroxidation reactions of the hepatic cell membranes caused by free radicals. liver cells.
• Reduced L-glutathione: it is a tripeptide with very strong antioxidant properties, it is the most powerful antioxidant that our body can produce on its own. At a biochemical level it is involved in many redox reactions, thanks to the enzyme glutathione peroxidase. The redox reactions are essential both to protect delicate enzymes from the action of endogenous and exogenous hyperoxides, and to bind, metabolize and expel catabolithic and heavy metals.
