Epica® Periocular Hygiene Oftagest Sterile Gauze

EPICA® is a sterile gauze in 100% cotton, soaked in a solution containing plant extracts, suitable for cleansing the periocular areas. It leaves no residue and is able to perform a thorough cleansing, removing secretions, any foreign bodies, dust, etc.

INDICATIONS

EPICA is indicated for the removal of crusts, cisps or secretions from the eyelids and eyelashes due to inflammatory and / or infectious phenomena.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

After cleaning your hands properly, open the sachet and remove the gauze.
Apply the gauze in the eyelid area, passing it gently, in order to allow adequate cleansing, removal of ocular secretions and any other deposits (smog, dust, dust, etc.).

In case of particularly persistent secretions or occlusion of the lacrimal canaliculus, it is advisable to heat the closed bag for a few minutes in lukewarm water (about 40 ° C) and then use the gauze as a warm compress, massaging gently.

It is also possible to squeeze the contents of the gauze on the closed eye, then massaging with the gauze until the residues present are completely removed. In the case of inflammation it is advisable to cool the closed sachet in the refrigerator for a few hours and then apply the open gauze on the eye, keeping it in place for a few minutes as a cold compress.

WARNINGS

The gauzes are for single use only.

In case of infectious states, do not use the same gauze for both eyes.
