WRIST-THUMB SUPPORT

IMMOBILIZE AND RELIEVE WRIST AND THUMB PAIN

The brace opens completely to facilitate the positioning and extraction of the hand, especially in the event of swelling. It is equipped with reinforcements (dorsal, palmar and lateral) to offer the hand and wrist an optimal position. The 2 straps with hook and loop closure and the detachable strap ensure adequate fastening and rigorous support. Thanks to the adjustable closure located around the thumb and the 2 lateral reinforcements, the trapezium-metacarpal joint is immobilized in an anatomical and analgesic position.

The aluminum splint is moldable at the height of the palm and a removable ball bearing allows you to settle the hand in the rest position. The EPITACT® immobilizer brace is very light and suitable for different types of morphologies: it offers optimal comfort to the point that it seems not to be worn.

Warnings

Performing an x-ray allows to exclude the possibility of more serious damage to the joints (dislocation, fracture, etc.), and confirms the prescription to wear a brace, as appropriate, for 3-6 weeks. Please consult your doctor.
