Wearing the EPITACT® night orthosis daily helps relieve joint pain at the base of the thumb and helps to limit the evolution of rhizoarthrosis.

Indications: Wearing the EPITACT® night orthosis on a daily basis helps relieve joint pain at

Functionality: The EPITACT® orthosis holds the thumb in the resting position by opening the joint between the index finger and thumb. Aligning the bones limits the strain on the trapeziometacarpal joint and helps relieve pain.

Specificity: The rigid orthosis becomes soft when immersed in hot water. From the moment you put it on, it will take the shape of your hand, placing it in a natural way with the thumb at rest. It hardens and returns rigid in a few minutes: from now on you have a tailor-made orthosis.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

This product is a night orthosis.
It is available in two versions: for the right hand and for the left hand.

- THERMOFORMING:
Follow the thermoforming instructions provided.
The orthosis can be thermoformed several times if necessary.

- POSITIONING:

• Insert your hand into the orthosis by sliding your thumb into the section provided.
• Insert the hook and loop strap into the buckle at the base of the thumb, lightly tighten the orthosis around the wrist.

MAINTENANCE
• Machine wash at 40 ° C.
• Do not use stain removers such as, for example, acetone, solvent, and so on.
• Leave to dry naturally. Do not iron. Do not expose to heat (> 50 ° C).

CONTRAINDICATIONS
• The device has undergone all tests required in accordance with ISO 10993-1.
In the event of an adverse reaction, immediately stop using the device and notify the Millet Innovation company.
• Do not apply to unprotected lesions.
• In case of severe edema: keep your hand under control during use. Remove the device if the fastening is too tight and obstructs blood circulation. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
• Do not use near flames or incandescent objects. Ne pas utiliser sur une plaie non protégée.
