Hallux Valgus Protection Gel

Indications
For the pain caused by rubbing.

Characteristics
Pathology: Hallux Valgus (onion)
The thumb is pushed towards the other toes and tends to be placed close to the second toe.
The bone located at the base of the thumb thus becomes more or less pronounced and is called the "Onion".
The rubbing between the shoe and the hallux valgus causes pressure and friction that can be intolerable.

Origins of the hallux Valgus
Typical malformation in women's feet (90% of cases) => the cause is often the footwear.
The "Egyptian Foot" is the most affected by this malformation.
Ligaments with poor fit to footwear.
Genetic factors that appear at a young age.

Epithelium 26 1mm should be worn on the "onion" to reduce chafing without adding additional pressure.
The product is designed to protect and not to correct the malformation.
Epithelium 26 is a silicone gel patented by podiatrists, whose visco-elastic and mechanical properties are similar to those of skin tissues. It distributes the weight and reduces the chafing that can cause pain in the Hallux Valgus.

How to use
The protector can be worn on both feet by turning it inside out.
Machine washable at 40 °
The bearings can be used daily for several months.
