WRIST IMMOBILIZER BRACE

Aching wrist, sprains, trauma.

The wrist immobilizer brace opens completely to facilitate the passage of the hand. It is equipped with reinforcements (dorsal and palmar) to offer the wrist an optimal position. The 2 symmetrical straps with hook and loop closure allow the moldable reinforcement to be centered under the palm of the hand, while the removable strap guarantees an anatomical fastening at the wrist: it immobilizes rigidly and accurately.

The reinforcement on the back of the hand includes a recess that avoids stress on the prominent wrist bone (styloid). The aluminum splint can be molded at the height of the palm and a removable ball bearing allows you to settle the hand in the rest position. The EPITACT® immobilizer brace is very light and perfectly suited to different morphologies; it is also really comfortable as it never hinders the movement of the fingers.

Warnings

At this level of severity the joint is still functional. Resting the joint by immobilizing it for about 3 weeks with a brace should be sufficient. It is possible to combine a localized anti-inflammatory treatment.
