Licorice

Compound Powder Laxative Action

Compound licorice powder is a mix of herbs useful for promoting intestinal transit. Practical in preparation and use, it does not require any particular preparation, it is ingested as it is accompanied with water.

Ingrediants:

Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) root (54%), Senna (Cassia angustifolia) leaves, Anise (Pimpinella anisum) fruits, Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) fruits.

Method of preparation:

Pour ½ to 2 teaspoons of the mixture into half a glass of water, mix, drink.

How to use :

mix the powder in a glass of warm water and take in the evening, before going to bed; or enclose in a moistened host, to be swallowed with plenty of water, always in the evening before going to bed. The dosage varies according to the severity of constipation, from the tip of a teaspoon to a teaspoon.

Warnings:

the high percentage of Licorice does not recommend its use in case of hypertension. Not recommended in pregnancy, breastfeeding and childhood. The use of drastic laxatives taken in excessive quantities, so as to cause diarrheal phenomena, could interfere with the absorption of any drugs or supplements taken, including the birth control pill.
