Eumetab ^® is a preparation with a high content of oleuropein, containing chromium, selenium, zinc and vitamins D and E.
Eumetab ^® is useful in subjects at risk of developing type 2 diabetes, with impaired carbohydrate metabolism and with typical alterations of the metabolic syndrome such as obesity and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

ADVANTAGES AND BENEFITS

Eumetab ^® allows the intake of 130 mg of Oleuropein (polyphenol contained in the olive tree, of which the leaves are particularly rich) with one capsule, an intake not achievable through a normal diet.
In addition to this precious polyphenol, the following nutrients with synergistic activity with oleuropein are also present in the supplement:

• Selenium , in the form of selenomethionine, an antioxidant that exhibits a synergistic activity with that of vitamin E and promotes the metabolism of glycides.
• Tocopherol , a form of vitamin E that reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease by protecting low-density plasma lipoproteins (LDL) from oxidation and reducing inflammation.
• Vitamin D , in the form of cholecalciferol, an essential nutrient involved in the often deficient glucose metabolism in patients with type 2 diabetes.
• Chromium , a trace element that favors the use of glucose by the cells of peripheral tissues.
• Zinc , another essential trace mineral with antioxidant activity necessary for the balance of important metabolic processes.
