Description
Medical device for ophthalmic use consisting of a sterile, preservative-free, medium viscosity solution with a physiological and isoosmotic pH, specifically based on two groups of components: rosmarinic acid, vitamin B12, and allantoin which perform an antioxidant, anti-irritant and soothing action inflammation and, acting in association, exert a protective effect on the ocular surface; hyaluronic acid, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and glycerin, respectively lubricant, moisturizer and viscosifier, humectant. Thanks to the particular qualitative-quantitative composition, Euphralia ALLERGY carries out an anti-irritant, antioxidant, moisturizing and lubricating and therefore soothing action. It protects the ocular surface by assisting the physiological anti-oxidant mechanisms and integrates and increases the aqueous component of the tear film, with the final effect of favoring the maintenance or restoration of the trophism of the ocular tissues. It is therefore particularly indicated both in situations of ocular allergies and in the case of other ocular discomfort caused by environmental or mechanical stress. It is also suitable for shielding and protecting from UV and BLUE LIGHT radiation. The combination of hyaluronic acid and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose makes the formulation medium viscous, with the aim of counteracting the natural removal of eye drops from the surface of the eye, during blinking, without however causing blurring of vision or the discomfort typical of high viscosity products.
Relieves the symptoms of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis, even when associated with dry eye syndrome. In fact, it restores the volume of tears, removes the allergen from the tear film by inducing the blink due to the instillation of the drops, counteracts oxidative phenomena by enhancing the physiological anti-oxidative mechanisms. Reduces dry eye symptoms, mild or moderate, possibly accompanied by itching, burning, foreign body sensation, redness, due to:
- environmental stress such as: climate change, atmospheric pollution, dust, exposure to solar radiation, dry or very hot climate, air conditioning;
- mechanical stress, for example inefficient blinking due to prolonged use of the computer or driving, studying, wearing contact lenses for prolonged periods;
- age, menopausal or post-menopausal status; physiological decrease in the absorption of vitamin B12 introduced with food;
- nutritional deficiencies such as decreased or insufficient intake of vitamins;
- blepharitis: in this case, blinking following the instillation of eye drops also facilitates the detachment of any secretions present on the rim.

Store in a dry place, away from heat sources and direct exposure to sunlight, at a temperature between 2°C and 25°C.
