Description
Sterile moisturizing and lubricating ophthalmic solution, with physiological pH, based on cornflower distilled water, chamomile distilled water and sodium hyaluronate. The solution is dispensed in a polydose bottle with a nominal capacity of 10 ml, without preservatives. Sodium hyaluronate is used for its moisturizing and lubricating actions that counteract dry eyes, creating a film that protects the corneal epithelium from external agents and free radical damage. Chamomile distilled water is included in the context of the formulation as it is known in medicine popular for its soothing and refreshing properties and is therefore indicated for relieving pain and reddening of the mucous membrane caused by atmospheric agents and environmental factors. Cornflower distilled water, on the other hand, is added to the composition because it is known for its moisturizing and anti-reddening properties. The formula also contains sodium chloride, sodium phosphate dibasic heptahydrate and sodium phosphate monobasic dihydrate, as a buffer system.
Indicated in all cases in which there are disorders caused by dry eyes. The most common causes of dry eyes can be: - use of contact lenses for many consecutive hours;
- environmental reasons (sun, wind, cold, smoky rooms, dust, sea or swimming pool water;
- excessive hours of study and/or work at the PC, from dry eye syndrome.
It can also be used by contact lens wearers as it does not contain a preservative.
