Polyurethane Foam Dressing

Description

hydrocellular polyurethane foam shaped for the heel and morphologically similar areas.

- dressing consisting of a layer of highly absorbent polyurethane foam and a breathable polyurethane film, impermeable to water and bacteria.

-Euroderm Foam Heel is not adhesive. This facilitates dressing changes and reduces the risk of trauma to fragile tissues.

-The high absorption capacity of the polyurethane foam dressing allows to reduce the number of changes ensuring patient comfort and a reduction in wound management costs.

- the thickness of the foam creates the cushion effect which reduces the pressure on the lesion, counteracts any frictional forces and thus guarantees comfort and protection to the patient.

-Requires a secondary fixation dressing (tape patch, polyurethane film-Euroderm or Euroderm roll-or cohesive bandage).

- in the presence of necrotic tissue or fibrinous lesions, use in combination with Hydromed gel is recommended

-the dressing can remain in place for up to 7 days. The frequency of change is linked to the type of lesion, the quantity of exudate and the clinical conditions.

Indications:

- Diabetic foot ulcers

- pressure injuries, from 1st to 4th stage

- prevention of pressure ulcers in patients with poor mobility.

Euroderm Foam Heel is latex free.
