Sterile dressing with hypoallergenic adhesive edge in hydrocellular polyurethane foam with a stratified structure that guarantees its permanence even on areas of difficult application and allows atraumatic removal. The combination of the foam with the polyurethane outer film makes Euroderm Foam Plus excellent in handling liquids, keeping the moist environment ideal for the healing process.

- Absorbed liquids are uniformly distributed inside the foam pad which conforms perfectly to the wound bed and to the various anatomical sites of the body.

-the thickness of the foam creates the cushion effect which reduces the pressure on the lesion, counteracts any frictional forces, and thus guarantees comfort and protection to the patient.

- do not use on wounds with fragile periwound skin

-euroderm foam plus can be used as a secondary dressing in combination with cavity dressings (gauze or alginates-eurosorb roll-), under compression bandages for the treatment of venous ulcers and, in the presence of necrotic tissue or fibrinous lesions, in combination with Hydromed gel.

-the dressing can remain in place for up to 7 days. The frequency of change is linked to the types of lesions, the quantity of exudate and the clinical conditions.

Indications:

- pressure ulcers from 1st to 4th stage

- surgical wounds

- vascular lesions

- 1st and 2nd degree burns

- skin sampling sites
