Dressing

Hydrocellular polyurethane foam with three-layer structure with entire hydroactive surface.

Dressing composed of a layer of highly absorbent polyurethane foam that guarantees the controlled absorption of exudate, an external film in transpiring polyurethane that avoids maceration of the periwound area and a perforated polyurethane film that does not adhere to the wound allowing the painless and trauma-free removal.

The dressing conforms perfectly to the wound bed promoting the ideal environment for the healing process. The high absorption capacity of the PU foam dressing allows to reduce the number of changes ensuring patient comfort and a reduction in wound management costs.

The particular “flat edge” structure facilitates the application of a secondary fixing dressing (tape patch, polyurethane film - Euroderm or Euroderm roll - or cohesive bandage) and guarantees further protection from the leakage of liquids. In the presence of necrotic tissue or fibrinous lesions, use in combination with Hydromed gel is recommended.

The dressing can remain in place for up to 7 days. The frequency of change is linked to the type of lesion, the quantity of exudate and the clinical conditions.

Euroderm foam is latex free. Indications: 1st to 4th stage pressure ulcers, postoperative wounds, vascular lesions, 1st and 2nd degree burns

Highly conformable and soft: the thickness of the foam creates the cushion effect that reduces the pressure on the lesion and counteracts any frictional forces and thus guarantees comfort and protection to the patient
