Pathophysiological changes of the extracellular matrix could cause a reduction in mobility and energy absorption capacity by tendons and ligaments, with the risk of developing diseases, such as tendinopathies and ruptures .

Ingrediants

5000 mg TENDOFORTE® Collagen Bioactive Peptides , characterized by a specific amino acid sequence and a low molecular weight (3.3 kilodalton), which facilitates its absorption in the intestine, thus making it highly bioavailable.

Several articles in the literature report the effects of administration with TENDOFORTE® Collagen Bioactive Peptides. In one study, an increase in extracellular matrix synthesized by fibroblasts of tendons and ligaments was observed, suggesting a stimulating effect by TENDOFORTE®. In particular, the biosynthesis of collagen, proteoglycans and elastin, the most important component of the extracellular matrix of the ligaments, is increased. Furthermore, at the level of the degradative processes, a reduction in the secretion of metalloproteases was observed.

In some studies, following the oral intake of TENDOFORTE®, various beneficial effects have been highlighted, such as the relief of joint pain and the improvement of the functional properties of tendons and ligaments (especially strength and resistance to stress), as well as shorter recovery. A decrease in the risk of injury was also observed.

In combination with an appropriate rehabilitation program, the prolonged administration of TENDOFORTE® has allowed an improvement of symptoms related to long-standing tendinopathies, with long-lasting beneficial effects.

The Bioactive Collagen Peptides, present in Eutend® Forte with TENDOFORTE®, are a particular type of collagen hydrolyzate, a substance classified as GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) by the Food and Drug Administration.

500 mg Methylsulfonylmethane , a natural form of organic sulfur that contributes to cell metabolism. Its effectiveness increases when associated with Vitamin C.

250 mg Glucosamine , used by chondrocytes for the synthesis of glycosaminogicans as well as hyaluronic acid, a substance that gives the typical viscosity to the synovial fluid.

200 mg Chondroitin sulfate , the most important and prevalent glycosaminoglycan within the extracellular matrix of the articular cartilage to which it guarantees, thanks to its ability to recall and retain water, a high absorption capacity and resistance to stress.

125 mg Vitamin C , a natural substance with numerous beneficial properties for the body, which plays a fundamental role in hydroxylation reactions for the formation of intermolecular cross-links, which give elasticity to the collagen fibers.

75 µg Biotin , water-soluble vitamin of group B containing sulfur, which contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system, as well as to the normal metabolism of macronutrients (carbohydrates, lipids and proteins).
