Disposable silicone wipes to protect the skin from contact with effluents, enzymatic liquids and adhesives from medical devices. At the same time, Esenta wipes facilitate device adhesion.

Esenta ™ protective wipes are made of medical grade viscose / polyester and soaked in 3 ml of a silicone fluid formulation and a silicone resin.

Once used in the affected area, the silicone fluid acts as a carrier for the resin which disperses on the skin leaving a thin protective layer on the skin surface. The wipes are individually packaged in hermetically closed sachets with tear-off opening. Each wipe is for single use only.

The fluid in which the wipes are soaked is transparent and colorless, it dries quickly after application.

They protect the peristomal skin from alterations due to contact with effluents, enzymatic liquids and adhesives of medical devices through a thin silicone breather barrier. The protective layer is waterproof and provides a barrier to contact with stoma effluents, facilitating adhesion of the device. The wipe should be passed over the skin surface and dries quickly leaving the skin soft, silky and ready for the application of a new device or dressing. The product helps to soothe red and irritated skin by reducing itching. To maintain complete protection, it is advisable to use the wipes after cleansing each time the device is changed.The Esenta formula is designed not to form lumps. In contact with the skin it does not burn even in the presence of irritation. The wipes do not leave the skinunta.
