Farmactive Gel

Farmactive gel is a sterile amorphous hydrogel based on hydrophilic polymers with a high water content in a tube which, applied to the wound and covered with an occlusive dressing, contributes to the elimination of necrotic tissues and protects the cavity, promoting healing. It is used for pressure sores, cavity wounds, ulcers of the lower limbs and diabetic foot and for skin transplant sites. The gel is applied to the wound and covered with an esterile secondary occlusive dressing. The high viscosity of the gel prevents it from expanding outside the wound or cavity and the high water content provides a calming and cooling effect for greater patient comfort.
