Farmactive Hydro is a sterile dressing in the form of plaques based on hydrocolloid substances covered with a semi-waterproof film in breathable polyurethane. It is used to treat lightly to moderately exuding skin lesions such as pressure sores, venous ulcers, surgical and post-operative wounds. The hydrocolloid dressing maintains an optimal moist environment to speed wound or injury healing. It absorbs excess exudate and then evaporates it through the high permeability. It is impermeable to liquids and bacteria, it is also elastic and conformable to provide maximum comfort for the patient.
