Dressing for scars. The Farmactive dressing determines a significant reduction of the pathological scars of old and new formation and prevents hypertrophic lecicars and keloids. Farmactive uses the patented ReSkin technology, silicone Skin Technology, which has coupled a silicone gel film with Lycra. Silicone maintains a hydrated microenvironment to facilitate scar reduction; it also flattens, softens and lightens the scar, favoring the elimination of the unsightly appearance. Lycra allows better transpiration and gives the product conformability and bielasticity. Farmactive can therefore be used on skin folds, joints and reduces the friction of the dressing with clothing. It is ideal in the prevention and treatment of rubbing irritations and protects the sensitive and thin skin of the elderly and children.
