Characteristics:
indicated for the preparation of beauty creams for irritated, chapped and reddened skin and especially in after-sun preparations, as it exerts a regenerating action on the epidermis.

Property:
known and appreciated since ancient times, the calendula, commonly called "fiorrancio", is a very common annual herb that grows particularly in the Mediterranean basin. It is used effectively both the whole plant and its flowering ends, in cosmetology and pharmacopoeia. The yellow-orange flowers contain many beneficial active ingredients such as water-soluble flavonoids, carotene and bitter substances. The concomitant action of these substances is healing, disinfectant and anti-inflammatory. It is one of the plants most used by modern cosmetics that uses oil mainly for the preparation of beauty creams, in after-sun preparations.
