Contraindications for using Progalin
In pregnancy, due to possible hereditary galactosemia of the fetus, the advice is not to use the product. Hereditary galactosemia (diagnosed as early as in the infant).
The intolerance to dairy products is not a contraindication, since in this pathology the morbid symptoms are due to lactose and not galactose.
Progalin Powder how to use
Dosage recommendations by Progal GmbH: for preventive purposes: ingest a level teaspoon dissolved in a liquid substance three times a day (corresponds to 3x3 = 9 g).
Dosage recommendations by Progal GmbH: for acute treatment: ingest a level tablespoon (corresponds to 3x6 = 18 g) dissolved in liquid three times a day.
The dose can be increased as desired. A positive effect should appear after 3-4 weeks (sometimes even earlier). In case of positive effect it is recommended to continue taking galactose.
