Cystitis is an acute or chronic inflammation of the urinary bladder. The inflammatory process is caused by microorganisms (such as streptococci, staphylococci, colibacillus, etc.), but in most cases they are infections caused by Escherichia Coli. Acute inflammations can be characterized by frequent and painful urination and cloudy urine.
