FINGER PULSE OXIMETER
Description
The pulse oximeter, with infrared technology, is intended for the non-invasive measurement of blood oxygen saturation (SpO2).
This device complies with the EU Directive 93/42/EEC on medical devices and the DIN EN ISO 13485: 2016 standard.
The device complies with IEC 60601-1-2: 2014, ISO 80601-2-61: 2011 Clause202, IEC 60601-1-11: 2010.
Technical specifications :
Instructions for use
Install two AAA batteries into the battery compartment following the indicated polarity. Do not attempt to recharge normal alkaline batteries, they may leak or cause fire or explosion. Insert a finger into the device with the nail facing up. Press the ON/OFF button, the device will start to work.
Inaccurate Respiratory Rate (RR) measurements may be caused by: improper positioning or alignment, low perfusion, motion, or due to an arrhythmia.
SpO2 measurements can be affected by the presence of a lot of light. Cover the device from direct light (e.g. with a cloth) if necessary.
Prolonged use or user conditions may require application on another finger. Change finger and check skin integrity, circulatory status and correct alignment every hour.
SpO2 measurements may be adversely affected in the presence of high ambient light. Protect the sensor area if necessary.
Maintenance :
Replace the batteries in time when the indicator is low. Clean the screen surface before using the device. Remove the batteries if the device will not be used for a long period.
Turn off the device and remove the batteries before cleaning it. Clean the exterior (including the screen) with a soft, dry cloth. Use a dry cloth with a little 75% alcohol to clean the device.
For device disinfection: Disinfect the device after each use, if multiple people use it. Use 75% alcohol to clean the internal surface.
Do not use strong solvents such as acetone. Do not use abrasive agents such as scouring pads or metal polishes. Do not wet or immerse the device in water; If the device gets wet, do not use it anymore. Avoid spilling liquids on the device while cleaning it. Do not leave any cleaning solution on the surface
