Fingertip Pulse Oximeter Model C101A2

This device is designed for measurement and display of functional arterial hemoglobin oxygen saturation (% SpO2) and pulse rate (PR). The device measures SpO2 and PR with an SpO2 sensor and the data is displayed on the OLED after some further processing, it can be used to measure human hemoglobin saturation and heart rate through the finger.

Application

The finger pulse oximeter is a non-invasive, portable device intended for sample testing of arterial hemoglobin (SpO2) oxygen saturation and pulse rate of adults in hospitals, hospital-like facilities and home environments. It applies to all people except children and infants.

How to use

Parameter setting

• Press the power button (? 0.5S), the oximeter will enter the parameter setting.
• There are two submenus for choosing:
• When the "*" signal is displayed in "Sound setting", press the button (> 0.5S) and enter the sound setting menu (Figure 3.3.1), you can press the button to change the necessary data.
• Select or to increase or decrease the number of settings.
• When the "*" signal is displayed in "Target setting", press the button (? 0.5S) and enter the alarm setting menu (Figure 3.3.2), press the button to enable / disable the alarm and the acoustic signal.

Install the battery

Install two AAA batteries into the battery compartment with correct polarity and coverage.
Warning: do not try to recharge normal alkaline batteries, they could leak and cause a fire or even explode.

Turn the pulse oximeter on / off

Insert one of your fingers into the rubber hole of the oximeter (it is better to put your finger carefully) with the nail surface facing up, then release the clamp. Press the power button to turn on the pulse oximeter. Oximetry turns off automatically when no finger is inserted into the device for more than 16 seconds.

Maintenance

Replace the batteries promptly when the low voltage indicator is on.
Clean the surface of the fingertip oximeter before using it to diagnose patients.
Remove the batteries inside if you do not use the oximeter for a long time.
