The yellow soybean (Glycine max) is the most widespread and the most common, it was already grown in north-western China in the 11th century BC on a large scale. Following its expansion, products obtained from soy have also grown, such as milk and tofu, documented as early as the third century AD, and today it is used in many macrobiotic products and more.
